First Time User Registration

Registering associates in Identity Management (idM) allows PepsiCo to securely identify those who need access to PepsiCo systems/applications.

  1. Obtain your Global Personnel ID (GPID), provided by HR, your manager, or your PepsiCo business representative.
  2. Go to idM at
  3. Use the drop-down menu at the top of the page to choose a language for the Registration process.
  4. Near the bottom, click First time user?.
  5. Select your Associate type from the drop-down list on the Registration page:
    • US based Employee
    • Contractor
    • Non-US Based Employee (MyAccess GPID)
    • Non-US Based Employee (PCS-based)
    • Third Party User (bottlers, co-packers, suppliers, other third-parties)
  6. Type your eight-digit GPID in the Global Personnel ID field.
  7. Complete any additional fields that display on the page. These might include your Date-of-Birth, your Home Zip Code (five digits), your Hire Date, the last four digits of your telephone number, and/or a Temporary Passcode/Registration Password.
  8. Click Login.

To complete your idM registration you will create authentication questions (password hints), set a password, and select your preferred language for idM. You may also need to submit an email address.

Reset a Forgotten Password

You can reset your idM password without calling your PepsiCo help desk for assistance.

  1. Go to idM at
  2. Use the drop-down menu at the top of the page to choose a language for the Password reset process.
  3. Type your Global Personnel ID in the User ID field.
  4. Click Forgot Password?
  5. Type the correct answers for your authentication questions (not case-sensitive) and click Login.
  6. Complete the New Password field.
  7. Type the same value used in the previous step in the Confirm New Password field.
  8. Check the Review and accept the agreements checkbox. You will not be able to change your password unless you accept the agreement.
  9. Click Change Password.

If idM has your email address, you will receive an email confirming the password change.
